Australian Cypress

The Australian Cypress family is composed of many kinds of tree. One such tree Callitris. It is classified as a part of the conifer species or Australian Cypress family Cupressaceae.

The most common variety is the cypress-pine, sharing its name with the closely related Actinostrobus.

These Australian Cypress trees flourish in lush tropical rain forest areas in Australia's eastern coast, while the other Australian Cypress species grow in arid regions.  When properly milled, Australian Cypress flooring is both elegant and resilient.
